Ahmed Fernando Anzaldúa was born in 1982 in Mexico City. He started playing the piano when he was 16 years old. He has had lessons with Zoltan Kocsis, Pierre-Laurent Aimard, Menahim Pressler, Ralph Gothoni, Emmanuel Krassovsky, Peter Frankl and Alexander Satz.

He started his professional piano studies with Olga Chkourak at Las Rosas Conservatory. When living in Madrid, Ahmed studied at the Escuela Superior de Musica Reina Sofia with Galina Eguiazarova, known best for her pupils Arcadi Volodos and Radu Lupu.

Currently, he and his family live in Mexico. He is a teacher and accompanist at the Chihuahua Conservatory as well as an active concert pianist.
